Job purpose : Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers on all talent acquisition related activities, from entry level to corporate positions. Duties and responsibilities : * Proactively engage with the leadership to establish a common understanding of Talent Acquisition processes and service level standards. * Consult with the hiring managers to identify the scope of the talent * Identify qualified candidates, conduct screening interviews, and coordinate on-site interviews with Hiring Managers * Advises and consults with the hiring managers on hiring decisions, job offer negotiations, and market trends within the industry * Provides on-going follow up with managers to provide updates and gather feedback on talent submissions and interviews * Ability to meet the demands of the business within appropriate Time to Fill metrics * Process background checks as required, prepare offer letters, and review and collect all new hire paperwork from candidates for all corporate positions * Schedule and attend Career Fairs to source talent * Conduct exit interviews to exiting employees * Adhere to all CEMEX and O.S.H.A. rules and regulations at all times and wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds * Meet or exceed company safety standards * Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management Qualifications : * Bachelor's Degree and an interest in Human Resources preferred * Minimum of 2 Years of professional experience supporting talent acquisition Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Knowledge of Behavioral Based Interviewing Techniques * Ability to effectively navigate within an Applicant Tracking System and multiple Job Board sites * Ability to influence hiring managers in and ever changing environment * Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills * Strong ability to multi-task and possess strong organization skills * Experience within Taleo ATS Working conditions : * Capability to work extended hours as necessary * Ability to work with standard office/computer Equipment * Capable of working in an open office environment * Ability to participate in required overnight travel as necessary Physical requirements : * Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, and pulling to a significant degree * Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently * Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment EEO/AA Statement CEMEX is an EEO/AA (equal opportunity/affirmative action) institution and does not discriminate on the basis of sex, age, race, color, religion, physical or mental disability, creed, national origin, veteran status, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender identity, or gender expression in the programs or activities which it operates.
