Position Summary Be able to manage their shift, area and department so we can build employee morale and increase our customer loyalty and satisfaction. General Purpose Responsible for improving efficiencies; Quality assurance; Problem resolution; Yield improvements, Customer satisfaction. Role Qualifications ï¿½Must execute ways to satisfy the customer. ï¿½Must insure that all departments are working together for the same goal. ï¿½Must develop systems and controls to ensure Cost and Yield goals are met. Position Responsibilities ï¿½Crider, Inc. requires all employees to comply with and support all Food Safety and Quality policies, programs and procedures to insure our products meet and exceed consumersï¿½ expectation. ï¿½Every supervisor must monitor ten key areas to be productive and affective as a supervisor. A.Safety B.Quality C.Yield D.Labor Cost E.Foreign Material F.Minimize Waste G.Cost H.Time I.Rejects J.Training/Cross Training ï¿½Housekeeping should be maintained continuously at least every half hour. ï¿½Scale Tare weight should be verified every hour. ï¿½Product labels should be verified once each set of labels are printed for errors or misprints. Equipment should be properly placed in their respected designated areas such as: pallets, freezer slats, dividers, trash combos, bone residue combos. ï¿½No foreign materials should be allowed at anytime in the department. ï¿½All electrical cords should be off the floors and water hoses should be wrapped up neatly when not in use. ï¿½The safety chain should always be used on the combo dumper when in use. ï¿½No supervisor or hourly employee should be working on any equipment ï¿½Maintenance Only.ï¿½ ï¿½Supervisor should double check all production paper work for errors during shift and at the end of the shift prior to paperwork being turned. ï¿½Hourly checks she be performed on the actual yield and documented. ï¿½Monitor and check PSI on initial startup and throughout the shift to ensure that the proper settings are accurate to obtain the standard yield. ï¿½Complete and fill all production orders daily and weekly. ï¿½No tools, parts, equipment, foreign materials, maintenance tools and tool belts should be stored in TSM area. ï¿½Any downtime over 10 minutes or any reoccurring downtime should be immediately reported to the maintenance supervisor or lead person on duty and the production manager ï¿½Label all trash combos as ï¿½TRASHï¿½. ï¿½Supervisor must follow and enforce daily all GMPï¿½s. ï¿½(In case of absence of key personnel, the job will be filled by a trained employee) Essential Skills and Experience ï¿½Bachelorï¿½s degree, and previous experience in chiller and other areas or equivalent experience. ï¿½Leadership: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results from others ï¿½Planning: an ability to think ahead and plan over a six month to one year period ï¿½Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities ï¿½Problem analysis and problem resolution capabilities at both strategic and functional levels ï¿½Strong customer orientation ï¿½Superior interpersonal skills ï¿½Commitment to company values Preferred and Relevant Skills and Experience ï¿½Bachelorï¿½s degree with production experience, or equivalent experience ï¿½Experience in debone, and other areas in a poultry plant. ï¿½Advanced computer efficiency. ï¿½Knowledge of yields, efficiency, and cost.
