SAP Basis Administrator II in GAC Savannah Unique Skills: Minimum 10 years SAP BASIS experience - required Preferred skills: 1. At least two full SAP implementations. 2. Professional experience in Netweaver ABAP and Java including SSO and SAML configuration. 3. Install/Configure/Maintain ECC, EPP, GTS, CRM, BW/BOBJ and Solution Manager systems. 4. Experience with System and client copies. 5. SAP transport management system, Setup/configuration of CTS+/STMS. 6. Troubleshooting and error handling, performance/tuning, and problem determination/resolution. 7. Proven work experience on Linux/Unix/Windows environments. 8. Extensive experience with HANA installation/configuration and tuning. 9. DBA experience in HANA/Oracle. 10. Job Scheduling and Administration. Preferred skills & knowledge: 1. Experience in configuration of Automation/System management tools: Solution Manager, ChaRM, LaMa, Redwood, HPQC/Load Runner. 2. Knowledge of Netweaver and HANA HA/DR solutions. 3. Experience with Hybris is a great plus. 4. Worked on multiple SAP upgrades and migrations. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Ten (10) years of experience as an IT professional with broad experience across multiple IT disciplines which includes five (5) years specific ERP development / deployment experience. Master's Degree may be used to offset one (1) year of experience; PhD may offset two (2) years of experience. Position Purpose: This is a system administration role within the Gulfstream Business Technology organization for the ERP team. This role is responsible for ERP system administration that may include application installation, architecture, configuration, ongoing support, security, patching, upgrades, high availability, development transport management, and performance tuning. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: 1. Engages stakeholders and technology users in identifying, analyzing, and documenting business requirements. 2. Creates plans according to schedules and assignments, and acts independently to carry them out. 3. Assures that solution designs meet requirements for scalability, performance and quality in accordance with negotiated service level agreements. Drives decisions related to architecture and design. 4. Delegates tasks and/or responsibilities to team members for action according to their level of experience and assigned accountability. 5. Demonstrated understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (SDLC). 6. Ensures applications processes are followed consistently and are in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, standards, etc. 7. Experience in conducting testing including design and execution of test cases. 8. Supports management in recruiting, hiring, and career development. 9. Assists with the development of work breakdown structures, project plans, and skills required. to develop and implement applications. 10. Develops strategies for the monitoring, preventive maintenance and disaster recovery of applications. 11. Performs application installation, upgrades, administration, support & troubleshooting, performance tuning, and patching. Additional Functions: 1. Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings concerning specific projects or other activities. 2. Ability to lead/facilitate cross-functional teams and meetings. 3.
