BASIC PURPOSE * Responsible for the proper and safe administration of respiratory care including intermittent and continuous therapy, blood gas sampling and analysis, mechanical ventilation, airway management and non-invasive oxygen and carbon dioxide monitoring of neonatal newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. * Complies with the Memorial Health Compliance Program, related policies and procedures and the Code of Business Practices; reports instances of perceived and actual non-compliance to Team Leader or through other reporting mechanisms. Education Required * Degree in Respiratory Therapy. Credentialed by NBRC as a Registered Respiratory Therapist License/Certification Required * BCLS Certified within 6 months of employment.
