Role Summary:

The Lead Income Statement Analyst will own productivity reporting, analysis and estimating across all segments for Power, including completion of quarterly submissions to Corporate and quarterly communication with the Power FP&A leader and CFO.

Essential Responsibilities:

As the Lead Income Statement Analyst, you will:

  • Prepare Investor Relations Narrative analytics focused on variances between Power actual margin results and external investor expectations

  • Develop productivity analytics and analytical capability focused on variable cost productivity to direct and support Power strategy

  • Partner with the operational excellence team to deliver improved margin

  • Manage Power pacing process though interaction / risk and opportunity discussion with all P&Ls

  • Support Income Statement Leader, FP&A manager and CFO in preparation of weekly pacing communication to Corporate

  • Support significant, broad initiatives (across Power) designed to improve business operating performance and/or simplification

  • Form a close, trusting relationship with the Corporate FP&A team

  • Drive reporting and estimation simplification and consistency across segments

  • Provide guidance to FMP in support of sales and margin reporting responsibilities

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance position

Desired Characteristics:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited university or college

  • Financial Management Program (FMP) graduate or equivalent development / leadership program

  • Ability to work in a matrix organizational environment

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Hyperion, Cognos or other similar ERPs

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
