Requisition Number 18-0208 Post Date 5/11/2018 Title Mortgage Closer City Duluth State GA Description Summary: Schedule closings with attorneys, close loans in a timely manner in accordance with company and investor requirements. Review and approve title commitments, hazard insurance policies. Check the borrower's social security number in the MERS system. Review the final TIL in comparison to the initial TIL ensuring that all HERA requirements are met. Review and reconcile HUD-1 settlement statements. Review all prior to funding conditions for accuracy. Request funds for delivery via wire to the closing agent. Education Required: High School Diploma / GED Experience Required:Minimum of two (2) years of mortgage industry related experience. Must be familiar with general mortgage terms, have the ability to recognize and an understanding of documents required in the processing and closing of mortgage loans. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills. Abilities: The individual must be able to concentrate in an open and fast-paced environment, have high degree of accuracy and be able to work well under pressure. The individual must have strong communication skills and be able to develop relationships with co-workers, attorneys and title companies. Must be able to prioritize, follow instructions, take direction from others and work well alone or in a group. Customer Service: Incumbent delivers the highest level of service at all times to both internal and external customers. Compliance: Each person is responsible for completing their individual assigned courses determined by their job responsibilities.
