Kelly Services is currently hiring for Experienced Machine Operators in Cornelia, GA. You will be working for one of the top Medical Device Manufacturing companies in the nation. Opportunities could be in Multi-slide Operator, Vicryl Extrusion, Adhesive and Sealant Operator, Anode operator, Strip Polish Operator, Laser needle Operator, and/or Monofilament Extrusion department. PAY RATE: Starts at $16.00-$16.80 per an hour, based on shift SHIFT HOURS Availability must be flexibility: 7:00am-7:00pm and 7:00pm-7:00am, 3/2/2 Rotating shift JOB DESCRIPTION: �Set-up and operate manufacturing equipment and instrumentation process in accordance to standard operating procedures �Perform process sample/testing per process documents �Perform routine process troubleshooting and work with Process Owners to solve complex problems �Use and maintain measurement and inspection devices including microscopes, optical comparators, dial indicators, scales, and micrometers. �Read and work from detailed blueprints to a tolerance of + or � 0.0001�. �Perform Preventative Maintenance and cleaning procedures on equipment per the schedule �Complete tooling set-up and changes as required �Utilize CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) system for data entry and monitoring of the process �Utilize the MRP system for tracking product �Laser drill and disposition needles in accordance with published finished needles quality standards �Basic Tooling changes, set-up, operation, and inventory �Quality and production standards certification �Complete process set-up, changeover, run, and clean-up �Utilize CIM (computer) to record and monitor the process �Perform PM schedule daily QUALIFICATIONS: �High school education, G.E.D. or equivalent skills, experience, or training. �Minimum of one year previous experience in one or more of the following skills: mechanics, stamping, tool and die, machining or punch press operation �Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience �Ability to read blue prints/schematics �Set-up, operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. �Experience with measurement and inspection devices including microscopes, optical comparators, dial indicators, scales and micrometers �Computer and database management skills �Department safety and GMP procedures �Working knowledge of basic hand tools �Working knowledge of shop math The local offices of Kelly Services do not represent the above position, please apply online for immediate consideration.
