Shop Manager



Oversee shop operations, be responsible for branch parts inventory, schedulerefurbishment orders on used vehicles, prepare used vehicles to be shipped fromthe branch location, and manage branch tournament fleet obligations/scheduling.

* Responsibilities to Include: *

  • Directly supervise 8 to 10 direct andtemporary employees in the shop operations areas according to the organization'spolicies and applicable laws including: assisting in interviewing, hiring, andtraining employees; prioritizing projects, establishing daily work load, andassigning work assignments; maintaining work area organization and cleanliness;appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressingcomplaints, and resolving problems.

  • Performs prep, rebuild, and repair services to 1,000 golfvehicles annually.

  • Must complete necessary work orders, delivery reports,documentation tracking of roughly $1 million annual parts inventory, and otherpaperwork required to document the mechanical work completed and maintaininventory levels.

  • Maintain and track location of 1,200 unit tournamentfleet, with responsibility for inventory accuracy and documentation.

  • Reports any majorservice needs, safety problems, etc. to Operations Manager

  • Performs all other related duties as required by management.


* PositionRequirements: *

  • Three to five years related experience

  • Knowledge of golf/turf products and parts

  • Computer skills for service management

  • Strong demonstrated leadership ability

* Education: *

Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
