Senior Level Electrical Engineer LocationUS-GA-AtlantaJob ID 3936 # Positions 1 Experience (Years) 10 Category Engineering - Electrical Overview CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Level Electrical Engineer to join our Atlanta, GA office. Responsibilities The electrical engineer will be responsible for providing electrical design for projects to our project managers and clients and will report to the electrical engineering section manager in Indianapolis. The position will require the following responsibilities: Lead electrical engineer in performing design for power distribution, motor control center design, lighting and building systems. Lead and be in responsible charge of the following systems: emergency and standby power systems, indoor and outdoor lighting and control systems, lightning protection and grounding systems. Perform QA/QC of Electrical Projects for the section and the overall electrical group. Coordinate and mentor Jr. Engineers and CADD staff on design. Coordinate with other disciplines within CHA and with external consultants and clients. Perform duties of Project Manager and Client Liaison for single discipline projects. Qualifications Bachelorï¿½s degree in Electrical Engineering is required. 10+ years of electrical engineering/design experience is required. P.E. license is required. AutoCAD experience is required; REVIT experience is preferred. Knowledge of state and national building codes, wastewater 10 states standards, energy conservation codes, NFPA 70 and 70E electrical codes, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, NESC, etc. is also required. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, work independently and in a team environment, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in construction cost estimating for electrical systems. Lead, guide and manage electrical staff on large and small projects. Valid U.S. Drivers License is required.
