Job id-oTnf7fwm Responsible for reviewing and negotiating data and compliance related agreements with advertisers, agencies and third parties in support of data and compliance related operations, while driving such contracts to close in a timely, pro-business manner. This will include negotiation and management of transactional matters related to data use and licensing initiatives. Assist with data and privacy compliance tasks, research and initiatives, such as privacy practices certification and policy and guidelines development and maintenance. The person will work with internal groups, such as programmatic enablement, data monetization and sales research, to drive continuous improvement of contract process and ongoing contract management, constructive problem solving and consensus, and to establish appropriate policies and procedure for effective and efficient support of data and compliance functions. The position may support any combination of transactional and other needs that flow through the legal department. Experience/Skills Required: 5+ years direct experience with at least 3 years of in-house legal department experience, providing legal support to transactional teams Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal transactions and drive them to close Experience with data monetization business initiatives Experience with privacy assessments and certifications is a plus Experience with creating contracts and/or workflow processes and related improvements Experience with project management and certifications is a plus Ability to negotiate with strong influencing skills, experienced at working with data and privacy related contracts and matters Ability to maintain strong working relationships with demanding internal and external clients A practical and proactive problem-solver who possesses strong business acumen, is detail-oriented, and is confident, mature and calm under fire High competency with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and online research tools Familiarity with Salesforce, Adobe Sign and other contract management and legal department management tools is a plus Bachelor�s degree Certificate from an accredited paralegal program preferred Must be able to juggle multiple priorities and tasks in a fast paced environment, but be focused when needed on the matter at hand Pandora is committed to diversity in its workforce.
