Position IT Systems Support Analyst Job Description Summary The IT Systems Support Analyst will provide basic to advanced levels of support to end users by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. This position will also be involved with both hardware/ software maintenance and support as well as IT projects and initiatives. Position Requirements Education Requirement: Associates Degree with an emphasis on technology preferred. Experience Requirement: Minimum of two years IT support experience. Hardware Experience: Advanced knowledge of, and experience with various hardware, such as desktop and laptop computers, servers, printers and network equipment. Position requires a good understanding of networking concepts to troubleshoot and resolve networking issues as well as implement or upgrade routers, modems, switches etc. (TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP) Software Experience: Advanced knowledge of, and experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Products, Windows 7 and 10 operating systems. Experience with Linux/UNIX as well as mobile operating systems preferred (iOS and Android). Certification /Professional Designations: Comp TIA A+, Network+, or other pertinent industry certifications highly preferred. Required Travel: Negligible Physical Demands: Position requires sitting for long periods of time, extended hours working on a computer and looking at monitors, frequent phone usage and lifting up to 40 pounds. Organizational Skills: Excellent customer service, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Candidate must possess great attention to detail and the ability to prioritize support requests based on severity and deadlines. Essential Functions �Provide timely technical support to employees through phone, email or remote session software to solve technical problems. Must be able to explain technical solutions and information to non-technical personnel. �Set up equipment for employee use, performing and ensuring proper installation of computer systems, networking devices and printers as well as upgrading and repairing systems as needed. �Install, maintain and troubleshoot desktop, laptop and server hardware/software in both local and remote office locations. �Configure and support printing, scanning, LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network file shares �Maintain accurate records of system issues and remedial actions taken as well as changes made to IT software and systems. �Monitoring end-user alerts through Sophos AV and resolve virus and malware related issues as needed. �Develop training materials and procedures, or train users in the proper use of hardware or software. �Create, maintain and remove user accounts in Active Directory, ShareFile, Office 365, Exchange, Mitel etc. �Basic administrative duties including: entering information into the ticketing system, answering calls, sending and receiving packages from UPS/FedEx, maintaining spreadsheets used by the IT team, ordering hardware/software and general support of IT Manager as requested.
