The Global Sourcing Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for the development, handling, management and documentation of FieldCore’s Sourcing organization and process. This position will provide leadership and direction to the entire Sourcing department,

employees from multiple functions, and manage/coordinate various sourcing quality programs within FieldCore. This position will function as a liaison to the GE Sourcing Quality Department to ensure FieldCore Sourcing maintains high quality standards in conjunction

with GE and FieldCore values and ensure compliance is met to CAS Audit standards. Key areas of responsibility for this position will include creating, managing and coordinating sourcing quality assurance in the following areas: FieldCore Sourcing Quality Program,

FieldGlass, ComplyWorks Quality ScoreCard, Sourcing Quality Assurance Policy, Service and Material Quality as purchased by FieldCore.


  • Drive Sourcing Quality Assurance Program for a $1B spend global organization

  • Position specific to Field Operations and will require expertise in that area

  • Understand strategies for each sourcing commodity and promoting proactive initiatives while ensuring quality

  • Be responsible for driving quality for assigned suppliers, improving quality performance via Quality Plan implementation

  • Understand the processes for Identifying and Qualifying new suppliers (Legacy Oracle and SAP)

  • Work with Regional Sourcing and Global Commodity Leaders to drive supplier selection through robust qualification processes

  • Accelerate improvements in supplier quality and deliver value to our end customer

  • Develop positive relationships and work in concert with internal and external Sourcing Leaders to include GE PS and Global Operations to manage and implement supplier quality programs

  • Interface with Suppliers and Sourcing Value Chain to drive Quality improvements

  • Deliver results as measured by key metrics, such as supplier yield, field cost, supplier defect rate, supplier quality plan engagement / effectiveness, and corrective & preventative action closure

  • Closely monitor supplier performance to plan and work with the suppliers to manage any required recovery plans, corrective actions and SOPs

  • Drive improvements utilizing Supplier Scorecards, PPM and own Supplier audit, ensuring supplier compliance, and driving improvement plans

  • Understand and drive Lean and Six Sigma quality internally and with suppliers

  • Plan, organize, implement and direct the application of assigned human and material resources to assure delivery of services and/or products meets established requirements and fulfills customer needs and expectations

  • Be responsible for the overall quality of the sourcing process. Work cross functionally with Sourcing peers to achieve a positive result

  • Manage and implement the quality system, incorporating all specifications and customer requirements

  • Establish goals, work plans, and budgets such that lowest cost and highest quality results are achieved

  • Assure that unit activities comply with all applicable government regulations and contract requirements on a global scale

  • Develop and maintain a communication plan to provide employees with adequate information concerning business goals and objectives

  • Experience in implementing Sourcing Quality Programs and Policy

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across various levels of internal and external parties Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of Sourcing and Supply Chain processes

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • 10-20% Minimal travel requiredEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required, Master’s degree preferred

  • Minimum 10 years of Supply Chain experience. Energy, construction, engineering or related experience desirable
