DESCRIPTIONThe Global Alliance Manager will be responsible for providing global business leadership and management of one of the largest Finanical Services ISVs in the industry. You will build and maintain key relationships, develop and manage opportunities, monitor deployment projects and engage virtual resources. You will define a CXO relationship strategy within the account, including engaging with AWS senior leadership team for executive sponsorships, coordinating executive business reviews, and maintaining customer satisfaction. You will assist the ISV in making use of all AWS Partner Programs and work on joint go-to-market solution, joint sales and marketing efforts, and joint development. Responsibilities The Global Account Manager is responsible for teaming with the ISV's executive, technology, sales, and marketing organizations - building strategic relationships across the ISV. You will be able to articulate a clear vision and generate enthusiasm for building a large scale strategic partnership which impacts the ISVs business, their customers, and AWS. The GAM is responsible for selling at the most strategic level within the ISV while implementing a broad and deep strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementations with the ISV's customers. The GAM will work with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Solution Architects, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, Support, Service teams and Professional Services) to support the ISV interests. This includes dotted line responsibility for downstream sales, technical and partner resources that may be geographically distributed. Development of formal case studies, joint Go-To-Market solutions and other forms of references highlighting activity and workloads running on AWS is core to the role. ** For more information on Amazon Web Services, please visit BASIC QUALIFICATIONSThe candidate must have experience working with a large Global ISVs as lead Account and Relationship Manager. The candidate should have experience managing Global Customers and have experience in managing complex partner relationships. The candidate should have experience in the Financial Services industry. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills are required. Candidate must possess demonstrated decision making, problem solving, and negotiating skill PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience as the primary account manager of a global federated enterprise ISV working with multiple lines of business. A BA or BS degree in computer science, engineering, business, marketing, or related field (MBA preferred) and a minimum of 10+ years of enterprise selling experience in large global accounts. Other experiences to include: experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record; experience with enterprise partnership programs, experience in the Financial Services industry; the ability to navigate across AWS and the customer in a trusted advisor/consultative approach; and, establishing credibility quickly with senior level executives across the organizations.
