We are currently seeking outgoing, customer-centric and motivated individuals to join our Inside Sales Team based in Alpharetta.

You will be a key member of an important part of our business, focused on moving out current Assets in the used vehicle market so that we can make room for the latest, most technologically advanced vehicles to best service our customers.   • Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or equivalent experience

  • Three (3) years or more of experience in successful sales preferred

  • Three (3) years or more of experience in inside sales preferred

  • Five (5) years or more of experience selling in a B2B environment preferred

  • Strong technical aptitude; ability to use technology and self-motivated to accurately research and engage customers to identify future opportunities

  • Ability to:

  • Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors; must be able to communicate clearly with C-Level customer and with experience Ryder Sales Team

  • Read and/or listen and understand information and ideas communicated

  • Effectively solve problems and challenges that satisfy customers; maturity and self-confidence with the ability to work under pressure

  • Prioritize projects and deal with ambiguity

  • Work independently and as a member of a team; self-starter, motivated, team player

  • Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty; aptitude for acquiring selling skills and product knowledge

  • Capability for multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills

  • Excellent systems literacy knowledge - MS Office, Excel, Word, and Internet (intermediate level)

  • Knowledge in how to utilize keyboard/PC to capture in a dynamic way, customer discovery


  • Engages in lead nurturing and, based on the prospects needs, assesses whether and when the lead merits one-on-one attention

  • Accomplishes one-on-one nurturing and, based on needs assessment, determines if the lead merits assigning a used vehicle sales resource

  • Schedules meetings between the sales qualified and a Used Vehicle Sales Manager

  • Educates and develops prospects regarding Ryder's UVS Value Proposition and services offered

  • Maintains a high level of call volume in order to pass qualified leads to UVS Managers, set customer appointments, and generate revenue dollars

  • Recognizes customer pain points and offer Ryder solutions; converses on transportation industry topics

  • Performs other duties as assigned
