Class Summary

Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation Operations maintains and operates the county's award-winning park system and provides high quality parks and recreation facilities, innovative programs, and quality services to meet the broad-based needs of Gwinnett's diverse population, fostering a sense of community, creating a safe and secure environment, and enhancing Gwinnett's quality of life.

This Warehouse Technician II receives, processes, picks and delivers warehouse order request for field staff. The incumbent will receive, process and stock deliveries from vendors in the warehouse. Additionally, the incumbent will delivers fuel to field staff; sorts and deliver inter-department mail; maintain inventory of radios for all staff within the department; coordinates repairs with vendors for radios and pagers and perform other duties of a similar nature.

The grade for this position is A132.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, or G.E.D.

  • Two years of automated warehouse or inventory control experience;

  • Valid Driver's License from state of residency.

  • Forklift certification to be obtained within 3 months of hire.

  • Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
