          The Director of Service Management is responsible for the effective management of the Information Technology Service Management organization to provide timely, customer oriented, and efficient service of the highest quality. This position will be part of the Chief Information Officer’s leadership team which provides oversight and strategic IT vision for Tanner Medical Center, Inc. The incumbent will manage the Tanner IT Service Management organization and as such be accountable for the IT Service Management functions: (A) Creation and maintenance of ITIL processes, standards and methods based on the ITIL v3 framework. (B) Management of the relationship between IT and the business units. (C) Service Quality Management. (D) Vendor Relationship Management. (E) Management and staffing of ITIL Process Managers (F) Management and tracking of IT Service Levels including collecting status, managing issue and risk escalations, providing rolled up managed dashboards (G) Regulatory and Audit Compliance. (H) Help Desk. (I) Access Provisioning.

          QUALIFICATIONS:

          Bachelors degree in Information Systems or related field.

          ITIL v3 certification.

          Understanding the ITIL v3 framework, project implementation methodologies, and systems development life cycles.

          Ten years experience in healthcare application management and or IT applications management with proven staff, managerial, and communication skills.
