  • Providing production support and enhancement for multiple applications with cross platform technologies including JAVA, .NET, ORACLE MS SQL.

  • Production support activity includes, monitoring the application on the production server, make sure the application running all the time, this require a through understating of check processing business and technical knowledge about N tier application.

  • If the application is not working as expected, or fails for some reason find out the cause of the failure and fix the problem quickly.

  • Working on any problems users might come across while using the application.

  • Applying the vendor patches on the servers, test the application after deployment, make sure application is running as expected after the patch updates, and verify the changes mention in the patch are working.

  • Providing answer to the queries raised by user using the business and technical knowledge about the application.

  • Working on application code fixes to resolve production issues.

  • Understanding the change request; create a high level and low level design document.

  • Working with dev team so complete pre installation checklists and support implementation activities.

  • Working with vendors to maintain application changes

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in JAVA J2EE with WAS 8 or higher server

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in DB performance tuning with Oracle MS SQL and DB2

  • 2 to 3 years of experience of working on IBM Unica and IBM Interact products

  • 2 to 3 years of experience on IBM Openpages product

  • 2 to 3 years of experience of working on Actimize CDD solutions using AIS, RCM, Visual Modeler and Server Monitor tools

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in Unix/AIX shell scripting
