          Qualifications: Master's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.At least ten years demonstrated experience in managing large development projects, including at least four years in the digital media field.Applied knowledge of software project management methodologies, and web technologies such as Advanced HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, Flash, XML, XSLT, PERL, Java, JSP, UNIX shell scripting and a strong foundation in enterprise level Internet technologies.Experience with online video, specifically live video streaming.Detailed knowledge and proven experience building custom, and open source, web application services, in a highly automated and scalable Linux/Unix operating environment.Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices.Must be able to give direction and leadership in resolving technical direction of complex operational issues. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts, both verbally and written.Excellent interpersonal skills with good strategic thinking.Ability to manage the growth and career paths of his/her organization.Ability to collaborate with customers and manage relationships with outside vendors.Excellent Project Management skills.Excellent organizational agility.Duties: Provide technical and organizational leadership in a digital media environment, supporting some of the largest and best-known digital sports destinations on the Internet.Manage, both directly and via a matrix organization, teams of developers, engineers, project managers, and operational support teams, to build and operate large scale digital interactive sports products.Act as central point of coordination in a multi-disciplinary environment that includes product development, creative design, digital advertising, business and marketing, and analytics.Help to define technology architecture and technical approach for consumer facing digital media products with heavy emphasis on video, mobile, and social media integration, as well scalability and extensibility.Manage resource allocation and assignments; develop project timelines, and track progress towards on time delivery of projects.Translate business requirements into technical specifications. Estimate effort and cost. Anticipate, plan for, and adapt to changing business needs.
