Work Conditions: Job Description: Duties & Responsibilities: We are recruiting 2 types of candidates with different responsibilities.

          (1) Operations Research Candidates: Candidates with educational training in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research and other related engineering majors will assist the Operations Research group with building new optimization models, enhancing the existing mathematical models, and conducting data analyses. Skills: Some basic programming skill in Java or C++ is a plus. Master or Ph.D. students are preferred.

          (2) Computer Science Candidates: Candidates with educational training in Computer Science or related fields will assist the development of decision support software (DSS) to improve assets utilization and to reduce operating cost. The application front end uses technologies ranging from HTML, java scripts, CSS, Flex, and Swing. The application back end uses technologies ranging from Struts, Spring, Hibernate, JDBC, etc running on Weblogic, TOMCAT, and IIS application servers. Skills: Proficiency in Java or C++ is required.

          Majors Preferred: Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, Statistics, and other related areas. Candidates should have at least a 3.0/4.0 GPA overall.
