Kforce has a client seeking a Telecom Tech in Alpharetta, Georgia (GA). This job entails supporting all Telecom Voice needs for a large building of 700 users in Alpharetta, GA as well as another facility.Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support for a Unify/Siemens PBX system and Unify call center as well as an InContact call center for some agents

  • Call recording, reporting, and troubleshooting of all systems; In addition, building strategic relationships with the business units and aligning our technology to enhance their capabilities is vital

  • Daily operational duties include moves, adds, and changes performed by physically walking the building as well as remote support

  • Typical functions such as installing new phones, resetting passwords, troubleshooting headsets, loading software and assisting in facilities moves are common

  • After hours' support, must be provided when necessary

  • Provide support for video conference needs and assist in working field tickets as time permits

  • Strong work ethic taking pride in work and self-starting tendencies

  • Strong oral and written communications skills

  • Ability and desire to manage building on their own with minimal supervision once trained

  • Ability to work effectively with various vendors

  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization

  • Ability to work independently and as member of a team

  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment

  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills

  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

  • Strong troubleshooting skills

  • Telecom support experience for TDM systems and VoIP

  • Project Management skills

  • Basic understanding of networking

  • Basic understanding of cabling

  • MS Office

  • Working knowledge of Support Ticketing systems a plus
