ROLE SUMMARYThe QC Technicians responsibilities include the support of the Quality Control lab. This role will support the release of production materials/components, laboratory physical testing, and review of device history record, in accordance with site procedures, Pfizer policies, and applicable regulations. This role will work closely with production to answer questions related to quality, as they arise.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESPerforming Routine In-process QC sampling and testing and stability testingPerforming Production Material and Packaging Component Disposition activitiesWorks with Production Operations Personnel to answer quality question as they arise during productionReview of the Device History RecordMaintenance of the QC lab and lab equipment.Maintenance of Production Material Disposition Records and Equipment Maintenance Records.Communication Product Disposition to the Global Supply Chain colleagues as requiredDaily Operations of the QC Lab and Lab activitiesPerforms other duties related to the Quality Operations function as required by supervisor or QC Team Lead.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 2 years in Quality Assurance, QC or production in a GMP regulated environment within the medical devices or pharmaceutical industry.Two year degree a plus, in Science or Industrial discipline is a plusKnowledge of medical devices regulations and normativesProficient in the use of TrackWise (QTS) application or similar system and EAMS.Proficient in SAP or similar system.Experience in conducting investigations is a plus.Good interpersonal effectiveness and written and verbal communication skills.Able to follow written proceduresPHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTSLifting, sitting, standing, walkingOccasional handling of heavy objects (50 lbs)NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTSMust be able to support 24/5, 24/6/ or 24/7 day production schedule as required and rotating shift if required.Sunshine ActPfizer reports payments and other transfers of value to health care providers as required by federal and state transparency laws and implementing regulations.
